As part of our "Building The Best Surly Bridge Club" YouTube series we upgraded our project bike with a 2x Shimano Cues Drivetrain.  The purpose of this upgrade was to maintain the low-end gearing of the Surly Bridge Club while increasing the overall range and adding high-end gearing.  In the YouTube video, we explain the rationale and the process we used to complete the upgrade.  This is a complete kit to allow you to replicate this upgrade on your own Surly Bridge Club.
