Surly Krampus 29r Custom Build Project

Brad contacted us because he was interested in building a customer Surly Krampus 29r.  For this project, Brad wanted to use his current Specialized Mountain Bike as a donor.  Brad loves the look and ride quality of steel frames and he'd been thinking about this Surly Krampus upgrade for some time. Brad's Specialized was well equipped with a nice set of Specialized Roval wheels, Deore XT brakes, Sram NX drivetrain, Whisky bars.

Brad had done his homework and determined that most of the parts would transfer perfectly to the Krampus frame. Brad contacted us to order the frame and pull the project togetehr. After a short consultation we ordered the large Surly Krampus frame in “First Looser White” along with a Cane Creek headset and a few other parts. Brand wanted hew "new" Krampus to roll on a fresh set of Kenda Booster Pro Tires in 29 x 2.6”.

Brad's plan came together very nicely.  We love the way it looks and of course it performs flawlessly. Thanks Brad for letting us help you make this project happen!
