First Annual Intergalactic Surly Bicycle Summit - April Fools Day

We're throwing a party on April Fools day to celebrate bicycles and the people who love them. Our Intergalactic Surly Summit will bring the non-competitive cycling community together to ride bikes, share stories, and enjoy a great time with awesome people. We'll have a bike show, swap meet, ride-out, and a visit to our favorite local brewery.
You don't have to own a Surly to join the fun. But, if you're a Surly fan we'll have all the latest Surly products available for you to try out.
Where: Ottawa Bike and Trail
When: April 1: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Cost: FREE to participate. Small fee to reserve a swap table.
12:00 - 2:00 pm: Make-It-Your-Own Bike Show and Swap
This is your chance to show-off your customized bicycle and learn how others have made their bike their own. We'll be offering prizes in several different categories. The bike show is open to both Surly and Non-Surly bikes. When you register for the event just let us know that you have a bike to show. We'll also have a swap area set up if you've got bikes or parts that you would like to sell or trade.
2:00 - 4:00 pm: Follow the Red Brick Road Poker Run
We'll be riding a casual route around historic areas of Ottawa. We'll have severval stops where you can fill out your poker hand. At the end of the ride we'll have prizes for the best poker hand.
4:00 - 6:00 pm: Not Lost Brewing Company Hang Out
After the Ride-Out we'll gather at Not Lost Brewing to enjoy an adjult beverage and listen to some vinyl spinning by Ampersand Vinyl.
